Vexatious Litigants

edited September 16 in Off-Topic
My wife has just come up with a wonderful possibility- what if Trump were to be sued as a "Vexatious Litigant"?
Definition: Vexatious litigants are individuals who repeatedly file legal actions without merit, primarily to harass or burden others. This behavior is considered an abuse of the judicial system. A single frivolous lawsuit typically does not qualify someone as vexatious; rather, a pattern of such actions is required.

Legal Framework / Key Characteristics
• Malicious Intent: Legal actions are initiated with the intent to annoy or cause legal expenses to the defendant.

• Pattern of Behavior: A litigant must have a history of filing multiple meritless lawsuits

Legal Consequences
Court Orders: Courts can issue civil restraint orders or vexatious litigant orders to prevent further legal actions by these individuals.

Sanctions: Vexatious litigants may face sanctions, including being barred from filing new lawsuits without prior judicial approval.
I'd be willing to contribute 1k or so to any group who sues Trump under this theory. It would be worth it even if it lost just to aggravate him.
