Recent drone attacks in Russia and Tehran

Apparently, pre-positioned drones were used as a precursor attack in Tehran to kill targeted scientists and military figures. Similar to the attacks on Russian planes recently, by Ukraine.

These recent attacks prove that drones can be a very powerful tool for assassination and destruction. They show that no one is entirely safe anymore, anywhere. I see no reason that similar events could not take place in the U.S. by terrorists, foreign agents or even domestic assassins. Obviously, this is a concern.

Apparently they move the drones into nearby position, after careful surveillance of the target, determining habits and known locations, then commit to the attack. Pretty scary stuff. And should worry any public figure. I would not doubt that a drone could even place a "limpet" style device onto a plane or helicopter, for later detonation. Or be flown into a crowded public venue. Relatively cheap and hard to trace back to perpetrator.
