Huge rally has no legs today. Selling into the close. (NTIP.)
Because the market was goosed by wishful thinking ? Whatever folks thought they heard the regime say today will be different in 48 hours. And then again in a week.
@larryB - or 5 min from now or tomorrow morning. I can't and don't trust this current market at all. @Crash - Thanks. I was hoping that I wasn't the only one. Took some recently bought ABBV shares off the board near the open. Tempted to take some QQQ's out as well but I'd like to see what the tariff talks with China might produce first. I'm comfortable holding them for a bit longer.
Just think of this,,,, Business leaders aren’t investing to grow their enterprises,,,, families aren’t spending and we are not investing. All because of one guy and it’s happening all over the world many times over. What could possibly go wrong?
I guess I would disagree with the notion of a "huge rally" yesterday and keep it where it IMO belongs, yet another doomed rally based on "HOPE."
And we all know what beloved Art Cashin (RIP) always said about HOPE as a investment strategy.
Markets took a look see at some important upside resistance levels yesterday and backed off. Trying again today but not showing real signs of overtaking any meaningful recovery levels yet.
As they say, bear market rallies are sharp and short-lived.
Used yesterday's 2-day bounce UP to exchange some Domestic stock exposure for Foreign.
