Whenever they update the ThinkorSwim streaming platform, they force me to reset my password at Schwab ... despite the fact I can log into Schwab's website and ThinkorSwim's web app without problems. They've totally borked this active trading platform since the acquisition, but continue to hype it in their advertising. So I sent in a technical inquiry/complaint and included a screenshot. Schwab says it takes "2 days" to process messages with attachments. WTF?? (I'm not an 'active' trader, but I like the realtime charting/quotes).
Even worse, when logging into their website, their "trust this device" toggle has not worked in over a year, which forces me to get another confirmation message a few times or more per day/week. The only fix seems to be (get this) deleting all the Schwab cookies in my browser, and then it works just fine, logs me right on in. Very weird, very frustrating.
Their customer service has been pretty good at Schwab, and while I'm not a fan of Fido's website I'm starting to get *really* peeved at Schwab's technology post acquisition of TDA .... I may bite the bullet and move to Fido just to see if the grass is greener. Heck, I'd even consider playing around with ETrade again at this point.
Edit: I forgot to mention that per THEIR guidance last month, you need to empty the TOS cache after every update to fix the problem - which it does. You'd think by now they'd fix things on their end, but noooooo. At the very least they shouldn't just be telling people to reset thier password for no reason.

Once Symantec VIP froze & I deleted the app and reinstalled - a huge headache that required calling Schwab for reset.
I don't use ThinkorSwim, so I don't know if Symantec VIP would help with it.
