  • Good selection there, @hank. The bishop yesterday spoke straight at him. Good. I don't need all the woke stuff, myself; but she had the moxie to say what most preachers steer clear of. As for illegal criminals, I have zero sympathy. Illegals who came to join family, or who have been contributing to society and paying their dues deserve some consideration. Lotsa criminals in my old hometown come from P.R. and the Caribbean. Puerto Rico is a US territory. They're not illegal, but they could, it seems to me, be extradited or shipped back to the island, with restrictions on coming and going to the Mainland. And street gangs? EXTERMINATE them. ... Still, the new Administration is offering the public the kind of "1984"-ish false narrative pre-Glasnost bullshit we saw coming out of the USSR. Deliberate mischaracterization of what's actually happening, in order to give themselves permission to do the junk they have in mind to do. ... END birthright citizenship? Yes, there are exceptions. One is children of foreign diplomats, not under US jurisdiction. But that's not what he's "preaching," of course. He wants to stop "anchor babies."
