Never Forget

edited January 7 in Off-Topic
Yesterday Congress certified the electoral votes which will make Donald J. Trump the U.S. president.
The entire process was routine and went very smoothly unlike 2021.
Despite the whitewashing and gaslighting surrounding the January 6 insurrection, we must never forget
that Trump was ultimately responsible for this unconscionable attempt to overturn our country's democracy.
To date, he has not been held accountable for this dastardly deed.
If this was not a disqualifying crime for a presidential candidate, I don't know what is!

  • 100 percent truth. And if he had lost, you can bet today would have been nothing that could be associated with the word, "routine."
  • On a related note, more shenanigans from team Trump...

"President-elect Donal Trump’s legal team made a last-minute push Monday to block the release
of special counsel Jack Smith’s final report on the two dismissed criminal cases against Trump."

"Todd Blanche and John Lauro, both of whom represented Trump in his election subversion case
in Washington and his classified documents case in Florida, asked Garland to leave the decision
to release Smith’s findings to the Trump administration."
