Here's a statement of the obvious: The opinions expressed here are those of the participants, not those of the Mutual Fund Observer. We cannot vouch for the accuracy or appropriateness of any of it, though we do encourage civility and good humor.
Not sure if ? this belongs here or elsewhere, but I was looking at Vanguard Total World Stock Index Admiral (VTWAX), which is also available as an ETF (Vanguard Total World Stock ETF, VT). Currently, the Vanguard page for VTWAX shows the NAV as $38.13, but the page for VT shows the NAV at $107.62. Since the fundamentals, weighted exposures, and portfolios are identical, why the difference in their NAV?
Fund NAVs are different for various classes, and for the ETF classes in case of Vanguard. Fund prices are set by the number of units outstanding for the respective classes. They all have the same underlying portfolios.
