Need a good primer on investing in foreign currency, and also on forecasting FX rates
Hello all -- backstory is a bit complicated, but essentially I am looking to make a large purchase overseas, which will involve FX. I'm trying to get a sense of whether I should start purchasing currency (in this case, CHF), which I can hold in my brokerage account.
Also looking for any tips on XFER'ing foreign currency holdings to foreign banks, which seems to be a bit of a beast in the US.
