Anyone know if Treasury Direct will be capable of completing redemptions during the next destruction caucus attempt to destabilize our country? Thanks in advance for your response.
Personally I don’t think so. Treasury Direct is set up to run by itself, and transactions don’t require human action. You put in your order (redemption) and the system will able to execute the order.
Now trying to talk with a live agent on a timely basis, that may be different.
Oddly enough and contrary to my expectations I just had a very positive interaction with a competent live agent with virtually no wait. Maybe I was just lucky.
