Really baffling suspension of a quality play-by-play television announcer by the owner of the Orioles after his mentioning their past years’ dismal performance in a certain opponents’ stadium during the pre-game show from St. Pete Fla. I guess it really is all about “show biz”! Been a lot of noise about this including from the AM gang on Bloomberg TV.
I’m an Orioles fan and watch 3 or 4 games a week. They have a genuinely fine team with a lot of over-achieving young players. And they passed up robbing the bank to buy Verlander or Scherzer from the Mets for the late season pennant run - to their credit. Pretty much going with what they already have.
