An odd connection just occurred to me. In the Presby Rule Book, the "Book Of Order," there is the assertion that the church's life and organization cannot function "without trust and love." ... Well, we can skip the LOVE part. But the TRUST has certainly been broken. Neither can a democracy function without mutual trust, and trust in the system. "A more perfect Union" will never be possible, while we must busy ourselves opposing these insurgent pokes full of worm feces. Their own explicit intention is to preclude "a more perfect Union."
