Is anybody familiar with this fund? It seems like it is putting out a substantial yield of 4.45%, but there is no information on M* about the kinds of bonds it holds that put out those yields. It is another fund now available at Fido w/o the load.
One can go to the source - Blackrock (click on the portfolio tab). To no great surprise, 42.4% is below BBB, 23.8% is not rated, and 13.8% is BBB - only 20% is in the A range.
Note that while BAICX gets 4 stars from M*, BAICX.lw (what you get via Fidelity) is a 5 star fund.
