Green-bonds raise money for clean-energy and other ESG related purposes. It is a way to tap into the ESG wave (it has subsided some in 2022). They were launched about a dozen years ago.
thanks a lot, yogi. Edit: I was wondering specifically whether such a bond issuance would serve to dilute investors' stake in the equity of the company? It is all unsecured--- an indication of the credit-quality of Norsk Hydro, ok. I suppose tactical vs. strategic considerations are to be weighed?
