Good tune! I listened to part of The Basement Tapes (Dylan/The Band) this morning. It was recorded in 1967 while Dylan was recuperating from a motorcycle accident but released in 1975.
The Band ROCKS. So sad that Danko and Manuel came to such sad endings to their lives. I've seen Amy, Levon's daughter, perform LIVE a couple of times. Great fun. "The Last Waltz" might be the best concert film, ever. But the obvious focus on Robertson and subsequent bad blood between Helm and Robertson was sad, but maybe to be expected. Supposedly, they reconciled before Levon's death. Garth Hudson lives in upstate NY, still not far from Woodstock, so I understand.

Their first two albums (Music from Big Pink, The Band) rank among my favorite "rock" albums of all time.
