Three Great Lakes Funds being reorganized into Cambiar Funds
Great Lakes Advisors is owned Wintrust/WTFC, a big Chicago area bank/financial. Apparently, Great Lakes is getting out of the listed fund business - it merged its bond mutual fund into Weitz WCPBX last year and now offloading 3 remaining equity mutual funds to Cambria. Great Lakes will focus on private wealth management (separate accounts, etc). Great Lakes name has an obvious Midwestern origin.
This is my guess - I haven't seen any formal news on this shift.
