Ayman al-Zawahri, leader of al-Qaida, was killed in a U.S. drone strike on Sunday. It appears he was unable to evade two Hellfire missiles while hiding out in a Kabul "safe" house. Along with Osama bin Laden, he was responsible for multiple attacks targeting U.S. citizens. Most notably, the 09/11 attacks which left 3,000 dead.
