  • Yes, Gary, I've seen that. For me, there were no surprises. And by the way, the truly fair way to deal with, consider, converse about and distribute the tax burden is in terms of PROPORTION, not percentages. Those at the bottom-end, but whose income requires them to pay taxes, pay a much bigger proportion of their incomes in taxes than the super-wealthy. That's no accident, either. And yes: the concept of an old-fashioned bell-curve distribution of wealth is just wrong. A more apt description is not a BELL. It's more like a BEER BELLY which slides downward and outward in a more pronounced way, the further out you go. More and more people are "sliding" downward and outward into poverty and obscurity, in such an illustration, which is more apt.
