I greatly admired Colin Powell, and have always thought that he took an unfair hit on the United Nations presentation on Iraq's supposed WMD arsenal.
General Powell didn't invent that false information on his own- he was reporting what he believed to be accurate information from the best intelligence resources of the US government.
