    No one in their right mind would ever believe that 45 stepped away from his business/company. He's way too much of a control freak to ever let that happen. He certainly could say that he did but that would only be when it comes to blaming anyone else for its failures. He'll declare bankruptcy again most likely.

    TDS is an acronym for Trump Derangement Syndrome.
    This term is frequently used to discredit and delegitimize those who criticize the former president.
    Donald J. Trump made the following statement in a 2016 speech:
    "I could stand in the middle of 5th Avenue and shoot somebody and I wouldn’t lose any voters, okay?"
    He was making the point that his voters are extremely loyal to him.
    I believe there is a certain segment of the U.S. population who will stand by the former president
    regardless of his incompetent leadership, immoral behavior, and narcissistic tendencies.

    The “quote” from Trump’s 2016 Iowa speech is often truncated.
    It should start with “They say I could stand in ---------“.
    Some say “they” is referring to reporters but others say he is referring to his supporters.

    If you watch the speech, it's evident that Mr. Trump is touting his supporter's extreme loyalty.
