    While I wasn’t a big Mudd fan, he represented a much different and better electronic media ecosystem.

    Sad to learn of his passing. RIP Roger

    I’m surprised there wasn’t much about the passing of Mr. Mudd on TV news. The Media usually have a several day spread honoring the passing of entertainment and media personality.
    Oh, they also like to fill us in on any thing the British Royalty does.

    PBS Newshour carried a good retrospective on Mr. Mudd. After he retired from commercial TV he contributed to the Newshour for some time.

    Yes, sad to hear. I think I heard him say once that he is distantly related to the Dr. Mudd who tended to John Wilkes Booth.... But no connexion to Harvey Mudd College.
