Capitol Police Officer Eugene Goodman was awarded with a Congressional Gold Medal, the institution's highest civilian honor, for his actions to protect the Congress during the deadly Jan. 6 siege on the U.S. Capitol. He put his life on the line of duty while redirected the mob away from where the lawmakers are hiding.
And yet 43 gutless wonders did not feel that those efforts along with a capital officer's death were worthy of respectful diligence to their sworn duties as outlined in their oath of office.
