Maybe we don't even need a vaccine

This thread by Andy Slavitt (Obama's former healthcare head) about a new rapid test, developed by Yale and the NBA (!), which costs $4 and gives fast results mean that we now have the technology to test everyone very frequently, catching cases quick.

Who knows whether and how fast this test gets rolled out at scale, but it's promising. Even without a vaccine, or even without widespread acceptance of a vaccine, the science is moving fast on multiple paths to bring this epidemic under control. That could have investment implications.
