Quote for the day ...

Great literature need not be relegated to a dusty shelf.

“France, less favoured on the whole as to matters spiritual than her sister of the shield and trident, rolled with exceeding smoothness down hill, making paper money and spending it.“

A Tale of Two Cities - Charles Dickens

Speaking of "making paper money", isn't it interesting how we've all become used to seeing financial articles every day which casually measure things in "trillions"? It really wasn't all that long ago that most of us thought that "billions" were a pretty significant amount of money. And mere "millions"? Hell, anyone worth their salt deals in those.

Anything less than "millions" and you're close to being on welfare.
