Question about M*'s price/forward earnings for mutual funds

How often do they recalculate that? Is it monthly?

For example VDIGX is at 20.49 at the moment. And that does not seem like the deal of the century to me.

What say y'all?

    Vanguard's site shows a P/E of 22.2 as of 2/29 so maybe it's updated. If it's forward looking though, especially in this environment, I wouldn't set much stock in any number.

    Pretty much what I was thinking.

    But I was sort of wondering if they had ever nailed down the process somewhere that it could be examined.

    Justification by faith alone perhaps.
