Blatant stuff like this is (relatively) easy to call out and condemn. It's the pervasive, small day to day incidents that we (myself included) let slide by that are difficult to see, let alone address.

Long Island's Newsday recently published their three year investigation of unequal treatment by real estate agents on Long Island. Newsday felt this was important enough that it did not paywall the report. (Another example of why newspapers need our support.)
