FYI: The anticipated closures tally for 2019 continues to trek higher as more firms announce their plans to shut down certain ETFs. Completed closures year-to-date stand at 94 so far, with several more expected—the latest from DWS.
The issuer is set to close five of its 38 ETFs as of Nov. 12. The affected funds are as follows:
Xtrackers MSCI South Korea Hedged Equity ETF (DBKO)
Xtrackers FTSE Emerging Comprehensive Factor ETF (DEMG)
Xtrackers Russell 2000 Comprehensive Factor ETF (DESC)
Xtrackers Barclays International Corporate Bond Hedged ETF (IFIX)
Xtrackers Barclays International Treasury Bond Hedged ETF (IGVT)
The ETFs marked for closure generally have $10 million or less in assets under management and launched within the last five years.
