iMoneyNet: U.S. Money Fund Assets Grow To Highest Since October 2009

FYI: U.S. money market fund assets have hit their highest level since October 2009, as investors piled more cash into these low-risk products despite a lessening of concerns about U.S.-China trade tensions, a private report released on Wednesday said.

Assets of money funds, which are seen as being nearly as safe as bank accounts, climbed by $24.57 billion to $3.355 trillion in the week ended Sept. 10, the Money Fund Report said.
