Queens Road Is Not Afraid to Take Profits: (QRSVX)

FYI: If the stock market's recent volatility has you wondering whether to liquidate your equities or hold on, heed the experience of Steven Struggs.

Struggs is the portfolio manager of the Queens Road Small-Cap Value Fund. (QRSVX). The 17-year-old fund applies a deep value philosophy to small-cap stocks. The fund, with $120 million in assets under management, is run by Bragg Financial Advisors, a $1.6 billion firm based Charlotte, N.C.

Being a deep value fund, Struggs scooped up bargains at the bottom of the financial crisis and rode the rally that quadrupled the value of the Dow Jones Industrial Average. Then over the last few years, his winners started hitting his research team's price targets.
