Warren Buffett Vs. Henry David Thoreau

FYI: Lunch with Warren can set you back a couple of million. Ask him about Kraft Heinz, carried at $14 billion. After all, they did command much shelf space. My role models are made of different stuff. Take Henry David Thoreau, whose log cabin built in 1844 on Emerson’s Walden Pond. Was 10’ x 15’ and cost $28.12. The chimney was secondhand bricks. Thoreau worked for cash just six weeks out of the year, tilling a bean plot. Buffett has worked harder and longer, over 60 years.

Ted
