Stocks aren’t all that different than cars, in some ways. Sure, the Ferrari is a lot of fun to drive, and you look cool sitting behind the wheel. But it’s also going to cost you a fortune, and high-performance cars spend a lot of time at the mechanic’s shop.

MIC took a nosedive last year due to several lawsuits over its management of one of its projects. (I'm likely going to be a lead plantiff on one of them as it moves forward) Not sure why that's recommended right now unless it's a 'recovery' play.
Several REITs listed, so not very diversified list ... almost as if the author was under deadline and needed to pick 10 high-yielders that weren't insane-yielders.
