M* Website Attacked !!!!

FYI: Warning: Potential Security Risk Ahead

Firefox detected an issue and did not continue to www.morningstar.com. The website is either misconfigured or your computer clock is set to the wrong time.

It’s likely the website’s certificate is expired, which prevents Firefox from connecting securely. If you visit this site, attackers could try to steal information like your passwords, emails, or credit card details.

@MFO Members: Problem has been resolved. Really, M* needs a new Webmaster.

  • They forgot to update their SSL certificate, and their IT department is asleep at the switch, again.
  • For the last 5-7 years I've had some serious doubt about whether they even had a webmaster or IT department. Can anyone confirm? Their recent discussion forums renovations are a disaster.

  • That was not an 'attack' Ted ... your panicked subject line is totally unwarranted.

And I agree their sites remain a creaking work-in-progress, even with the weird new forums.
