FYI: At the beginning of May, we rolled out two new bond Morningstar Categories, splitting up the intermediate-bond category--the largest fund category by assets--into intermediate core bond and intermediate core-plus bond. As the "core" element of their names suggests, these funds often act as the foundation for investors' fixed-income portfolios.
