FYI: Gold seems to glitter only in times of trouble, and by the looks of the S&P 500 there seems to be far less worrying investors in 2019 than in 2018. With stocks in favor again, now might be the time to get less defensive with gold and be more aggressive with stocks. SPDR Gold Shares (GLD) has barely risen 1% this year, while the S&P 500 has gained more than 10 times that.
