FYI: Global companies continue to see increased consolidation in 2019, announcing more than 5,000 merger and acquisition deals worth over $650 billion.
Among the planned deals are the Goldcorp (ticker: GG) and Newmont Mining (NEM) merger, BB&T ’s (BBT) takeover of SunTrust Banks (STI), and Bristol-Myers Squibb ’s (BMY) acquisition of Celgene (CELG).
