U.S. Stock Market: Recession Ahead?

Mar. 28, 2019 11:47 AM•spy

Summary

The inverted yield curve since last Friday is a strong warning sign that the U.S. stock market has already peaked.

Supported by extreme valuations and slowly increasing initial unemployment claims, a recession and stock market decline is getting more likely.

As the last three months probably were only a bear-market rally, this is not the time for long-term stock investments.
