FYI: They’re known, not entirely favorably, as the gatekeepers: the all-powerful investment consultants that advise the world’s most powerful allocators on where to put their money.
Impress them, and gain access to institutional capital that would be inaccessible otherwise. Fail to do so, and find yourself locked out of lucrative partnerships.
