FYI: U.S. stocks climbed Monday, led by the technology sector, as investors awaited another busy week of corporate earnings reports and economic data.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed 175 points, or 0.70%, to 25239. The S&P 500 added 0.68%, on course to rise for the fourth consecutive session. The technology-heavy Nasdaq Composite increased 1.15%.

Technology stocks were among the biggest gainers in the S&P 500, up 1.5%. Software giant Microsoft and iPhone maker Apple both added more than 2.5% apiece, helping to boost the blue-chip index as well.

Eight of the eleven S&P 500 Sectors led by Technology were in positive territory.
Regards,
Ted
