FYI: One of the eternal conundrums of investing is timing: How do you correctly interpret when a market is so euphoric that’s it’s about to slide into an abyss, or so panic-stricken that it’s on the verge of capitulation—and recovery. While nothing is certain about market timing, a sentiment indicator called the Citi Research Panic-Euphoria Reading recently demonstrated just how crazy markets have been.
