NFL Playoff Preview: Outlook And Analysis For All 12 Teams

FYI: ( Today the Linkster likes the Colts -2.5, and the Seahawks +2.5. Tomorrow the Chargers +3 and three Bears -6.)

All eyes remain on young stars Patrick Mahomes and Todd Gurley as the NFL transitions from the regular season to the playoffs. But it's the under-the-radar, cheap-yet-effective signings that have carried many of the postseason teams this far.

Still, for all those smart signings, free agency looms, and teams will have to decide which of their players are worth retaining. For many of these players, the postseason represents one last chance to impress their GMs before the off-season decisions must be made.

    @Ted, easy for a kicker to be the goat for sure. One of the most infamous field goal misses was the last play of Super Bowl 25, Bills against the Giants. Bill's kicker Scott Norwood's kick went "WIDE RIGHT" and the game was lost 20 to 19. That game started with the best National Anthem rendition ever, sung by Whitney Houston, and ended in heart break for Bill's fans everywhere. So, I know how you feel.
