FYI: The stock market took a beating late last year, with the S&P 500 index ending 2018 down 6.2% (and down 14.7% from the high it posted in October), while Nasdaq ended the year off 3.9%, and the Dow closed down 5.6%.
While those numbers sound uniformly grim, some types of equity funds fared much worse than others. Click through to see which sectors were hit hardest, according to data from Morningstar Inc.
