FYI: After the sound and fury of 2018, emerging markets’ place in the global economy has not changed much. They are growing twice as fast as developed countries. Economic management is solid in most places, with inflation near historic lows and sovereign debt burdens lighter than in the U.S., Europe, or Japan.
