Sustainable Versions Of Popular Market Indexes Will Launch Next Year

FYI: Sustainable versions of the popular Russell 1000, Russell 2000 and Russell 3000 indexes will be available next year.

The so-called ESG (environmental, social, and governance factors) risk ratings for the indexes will be provided by Sustainalytics, the sustainable investing research and ratings firm. FTSE Russell and Sustainalytics in recent years have provided custom indexes to clients. They aim to produce the first product in the first half of 2019.
