The Breakfast Briefing: Global Stocks Rebound After Rough Week
FYI: Stocks advanced in Europe and Asia and U.S. futures pointed to a higher open as investors switched focus to the outlook for trade and interest rates in the wake of another miserable week in markets. The dollar and Treasuries ticked lower, while oil gained.
The Stoxx Europe 600 recently was up 0.9%. In Asia, Japan’s Nikkei Stock Average was up 0.8%, while South Korea’s Kospi benchmark gained 1.2% and Hong Kong’s Hang Seng was up 1.7%.
