You can always go back a year and find out what the successful strategy would have been. Article weak on specifics, but appears somebody called it right a year ago. Checked Price's European Stock Fund, PRESX. Bottomed last November. Up 12.15% over 1 year and 13.56% YTD. Should add: one year is way too short a period IMHO to judge either a market or a particular fund. Also, many prefer not to reach for falling knives.
