Swiss Bank Vontobel Is Making Its First U.S. Acquisition: (HIEMX)
FYI: Vontobel (VONN.Switzerland), the Swiss private bank, has agreed to buy the North American wealth management portfolio of Swiss asset manager Lombard Odier. The deal includes approximately 700 million Swiss francs ($703 million) of private wealth management clients based in the U.S. and 600 million Swiss francs of private client assets through a Montreal-based, SEC-regulated subsidiary.
