.On Wednesday, Abbott Labs and U.S. Bancorp, M&T Bank and Winnebago are expected to report before the bell.
Global stocks advanced Wednesday, as a rally in the U.S. spread across Asia and continued in Europe.
The Stoxx Europe 600 was up 0.4% in early trading. In Asia, the Shanghai Composite gained 0.6%, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng was up 0.8% and Japan’s Nikkei climbed 1.3%.
Futures markets pointed to a .15% lower opening for the S&P 500.
The moves followed a roaring day for U.S. stocks on Tuesday, which saw them erase some recent losses, buoyed by strong corporate profits and positive U.S. employment data.
