The Breakfast Briefing: U.S. Stock Futures Fluctuate As Investors Keep A Close Eye On Bond Yields
FYI: Global stocks paused Wednesday, as tensions over Italy’s budget continued to weigh on sentiment and after the International Monetary Fund warned of lower-than-anticipated growth rates globally.
The Stoxx Europe 600 was down 0.4% in morning trading. In Asia, Japan’s Nikkei 225 was up 0.2%, while Hong Kong’s Hang Seng was up 0.1%.
In the U.S., futures pointed to an opening drop for the S&P 500 and the Dow Jones Industrial Average of 0.1%. Regards, Ted
