The Trump Trade Strategy Is Coming Into Focus -- Where Is It Headed?

Interesting reading....its encouraging to think there may actually be a strategy.
Taking an aggressive stance with traditional allies now seems to be just a warm-up for the main event: isolating China.
Here is one potential outcome that is causing me to pause to consider its implications for my Asia/EM investments.....
There’s a risk that even if the effort to isolate China succeeds, the result might be simply a bifurcated world trade system in which there is one orbit of countries with close ties to the United States, and another tied to China, with minimal overlap.
