Here is one potential outcome that is causing me to pause to consider its implications for my Asia/EM investments.....Taking an aggressive stance with traditional allies now seems to be just a warm-up for the main event: isolating China.

The pain referenced here will mostly be felt by the vast majority of Americans who are least able to afford it. I see this as just another move to make those who are already well off even more so at the majority's expense.
