Chuck Jaffe's Money Life Show: Guest: Duane McAllister, Manager, Baird Municipal Bond Funds

FYI: (Slide mouse to 16:15 minutes for Duane McAllister interview.)

Three very different market experts shared their outlook on today;s show. Jim Welsh from SmartPortfolios.com said the market is more vulnerable than in the recent past, due for a correction of up to 5 percent over the next few weeks. After that pullback, Welsh expects a bounce back before a bear market sets in. Duane McAllister, senior portfolio manager at Baird said he doesn't see any signs of recession yet, noting that the market is more vulnerable, due for a 3-5 percent correction over the next few weeks. McAllister sees a flatter interest-rate environment, but believes the Federal Reserve can avoid an inverted yield curve and the recession that comes with it. Also, Karl Mills of Jurika, Mills and Kiefer, said that 2019 looks like a different market time, with a downturn in the offing and diversification about to pay off after a long period where it did not help small investors. And Liz Weston of NerdWallet discussed problems with Experian's credit freeze program that were uncovered by her team of writers..

Ted
