Gary Bradshaw of the Hodges Blue Chip Equity Income Fund said in the Market Call that the economy in the US is booming, and that the upcoming earnings season should be nearly as strong as second-quarter numbers were. Those were up 25 percent and Bradshaw said the continued growth should keep many companies powering forward for the foreseeable future.
